Finland Prayer Covering

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:39)

Country Dynamics: Finland has a population of about 5.5 million people; approximately 1.5 million live in the Helsinki-Vantaa-Espoo region. State religions: Lutheran, Orthodox. Trinity Pentecost also has a far-reaching impact; Paganism; Agnosticism. Pioneering Missionaries: Mark, Glenda, Miranda, and Candace Alphin (living in Vantaa). Focus--For God's light to shine upon the country, infiltrating the darkness of the enemy's kingdom. Bind false doctrine, error, paganism, spiritual despair, addictions (especially alcohol). Loose Truth, light of God, hope, love of God. Pray the WORD--Ye are the light of the world....Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:14a, 16) ...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12) To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (Acts 26:18)

Focus--For revelation of God's existence, understanding of Oneness, a very personal God--for the whole country, especially contacts we have made who have not yet expressed interest in God. Bind spiritual confusion, ignorance, apathy. Loose understanding, hunger for Truth, knowledge, revelation of the Word, desire. Pray the WORD--In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:1-4) And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: (Mark 12:29)

Focus--For contacts who are currently involved in non-Truth religions. Bind false doctrine, error, confusion. Loose Truth, spirit of God to impress with revelation from both the Word and dreams. Pray the WORD--And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32) But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)

Focus--For Holy Spirit recipients (3/5 Holy Spirit recipients are active; 2 turned to false doctrine; 1 needs salvation revelation/baptism); all to be witnesses to friends and family. Bind false doctrine, error, confusion, fear. Loose Truth to shed light and revelation, pray for virtue in Spirit, spiritual understanding. Pray the WORD--Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Romans 6:4) Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. (Colossians 2:6-7) But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23) And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou has seen and heard. (Acts 22:14-15) Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God...For God hath not given us the spirit pf gear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:6a, 7)

Focus--For the missionaries to have an increased understanding of language and culture, increased spiritual authority, increased wisdom in teaching both unsaved and converts (currently writing multiple new studies), and increased boldness in making contacts, uninterrupted rest by spirit realm, increased good health. Bind confusion, weariness, doubt, fear, infirmity. Loose clarity in Spirit and mind, revelatory understanding, covering of peace, blood covering, healing. Pray the WORD--Casting down imaginations, and every high things that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (2 Corinthians 10:5) For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7) These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33) Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus... (Hebrews 10:19) ...with his stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5b)
