Good News from Northern Europe

We thank God for His blessings on our Annual Ministers’ Retreat and Planning Session. This was for the ministers in North England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We thank God for new works that are starting and for souls being added to the Kingdom.

Each year, we have students attend the European Youth Conference in Melun, France.  A great group went this year and were immensely blessed in the services and in the great fellowship with young people from around Europe.  This is always one of the highlights each school year, and we are thankful we can be a part of this great conference.

Each year it is great to celebrate Thanksgiving with people from around the world.  We enjoyed great food and fellowship this Thanksgiving as we all gave thanks for the good things in our lives.

It was great to be with the church in Edinburgh as they celebrated their 15th Anniversary. God has blessed Bro. and Sis. John Beek as they lead this work.  It was an honor for them to have their pastor
and his wife, Bro. and Sis. Pollard from St. Catharine’s Ontario, with them for this special celebration.

We thank God for the vision of the Glasgow Church to see cell groups established around the city. Harvest Bible College graduates are involved in this ministry and we rejoice to see God using them. Pictured is the group in Maryhill on the northwest side of the city.

God is moving in each nation of Northern Europe.  Where there are churches established, people are coming to know the Lord and receiving the new birth experience.  We have pastors, missionaries and saints who are striving to live for God and do a work for Him in these very challenging nations.  It is our privilege to live and work amongst them.

Pray for:  Greenland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Ireland and the United Kingdom—England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

God has been good to us and we count our blessings.  As we come to the close of another year, we look with anticipation as to what God will do in 2019 and BELIEVE for great things to take place in the countries of Northern Europe.

Luxembourg Missions Update

Greetings from Luxembourg in the Name of Jesus!

It was a great honor to have Rev. Matthew Tuttle and his wife with us for our annual BENELUX Conference along with the Eastgate Choir. We also were privileged to have our EME Regional Director, Bro. Michael Tuttle and Sis. Tuttle join us for this special occasion. There was a tremendous spirit of unity among us. At least 5 received the Holy Ghost and 3 were baptized in Jesus’ Name! Thank you for your faithful support!

A Paz do Senhor (Praise the Lord)!

What a busy past month we have had! On October 31st we had our Outbound Orientation at Headquarters in the St. Louis area, and on November 13th we got on our overnight flight to Brazil!

As soon as we arrived we visited some of our home groups in Varzea Paulista and on the eastern side of the city of Sao Paulo. We even had a baby dedication!

The following week we took a domestic flight to Belo Horizonte where national conference and elections were held. We thank God for our leadership here in Brazil, and we pray for His continued wisdom and guidance in their decision making. Please join us in prayer for this as well!

At the end of the month we had the privilege of hosting Adam and Stephanie Shaw, Youth President of the Ontario District. Their ministry was such a blessing to the district of Parana during their Youth Conference! There were six sessions/services in two days, and God moved in a special way in each session/service!

Lastly, we praise God for His guidance and help in finding a vehicle for our time here on the field! We thank everyone who has contributed to Sheaves for Christ, and we also thank the UPCI Youth Department for making this possible. Having a good, reliable vehicle here on the field is ESSENTIAL. We are so thankful!

We are also very close to moving in to a new apartment right next to a metro stop in just a few days if all goes according to plan! We have been praying for God to help us with finding a vehicle and a place to live before the New year, and it looks like God has answered our prayers!

Thank you for your prayers and support, and God bless!!!

Sayers' Update from Germany

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.  Acts 2:42

Greetings in the name of Jesus!

We held our 7th Elisha Conference for ministers throughout the German Speaking Nations

in the end of October here in Munich.  For the first time we had Portuguese speaking ministers –including special guests from Angola— adding to German, French and Spanish speakers, and we thank Rev. Oscar Rodrigues, missionary to Portugal for assisting with this translation! During this time not only did Rev. F. J. Ellis and several other instructors teach, but also on the last night 32 miracles of healing took place! Many ministries, such as Prayer, Hypen and Ladies ministries took new steps, all of which point toward revival!!

In Munich, we have Bible Studies in progress and recently baptized a sister in Jesus’name! Our prayer focus: our city, neighbors, colleagues and our families—seeking the will of God in breakthrough. We see God bringing visitors and contacts and praise God for it all!

We were also able to minister recently in Berlin, Zurich and Geneva and appreciate these churches and their pastors!!

We are gearing up for more apostolic teaching and impartation through the Apostolic Ministry Training Center in 2019, where we believe God for 40 campuses!  If you are interested in coming to teach in this GATS-based program, see http://amtc.u-p-c.eu for more information.

We are now finishing our 5th term of Purpose Institute in the GSN!!  We are looking forward to adding campuses next year after having 21 students complete the first half of the PI program!

We appreciate you and your financial and prayer support!

10 Baptisms in desert town.

The town of Aranos is hot and dry, but God is filling people with his Spirit, and people are being baptized. Water is scarce and difficult to get. We are thankful for the horse and cart that brought water for the baptism!

Thank you Sheaves for Christ!

We give God praise for 19 baptized, and 8 filled with the Holy Ghost!

THANK YOU for your prayers, and faithful support.

MANY BLESSINGS,

THE IKERD FAMILY

Berlin/Northern Germany

With joy we share the wonderful gift of Jesus' love, which has been given lavishly to us. With all we give, we never run short of His supply!

Visiting with our neighbor in English and Swahili, we are comparing Bible verses in both languages. Here we display a parallel Bible in those languages, which makes the interaction much easier.

We were delighted this month to go back to Leipzig for service. Sis. Viktoria spent most of October with her family in Estonia but welcomed us to her home when she returned. What a precious time of worship and the Word of God we have there!

One of the babies in Potsdam was diagnosed with a serious, incurable disease. All the church took this need to the Lord in prayer, and we are believing for a miracle. (Further tests will not be done until mid-January.) Thank you for adding your faith to ours for little Emily. Nothing is impossible with God!

And to the one or the many of you who prayed especially for Sis. Sledge November 24, thank you. I had been sick all week and worried about my part in the Sunday services. With no human explanation, I felt better abruptly and knew it was the hand of Jesus. I tole Bro. Sledge, "Someone just touched God on my behalf." Your prayers make a difference!

We never know who will visit the church in Berlin, and we are excited to have an uplifting, edifying spiritual "meal" for everyone. The new manager of the building we rent, as well as an assistant, stayed after completing some office duties so they could join our service. With a wonderful Savior as ours and the joy He brings to every meeting, who wouldn't want to be a part? This is our very multinational group and Pastor Sledge preaching in German.

With the Christmas season in full swing, Weihnachtmarkte (Christmas Markets) are found throughout Germany. We go through them--and look for opportunities to meet people as they are out and about as well. For instance, an unexpected braking with the bicycle caused a lady to turn her baby buggy and bump another lady's foot. After the situation was eased, a visit with the lady with the baby revealed that her family has a residence close to the Potsdam church and is looking for a church. She said, "Maybe this accident was for a reason." Doors are open if we are willing to walk through them!

And for those for whom the holidays also mean lots of sweets, a word of encouragement:

May the love and light of Jesus makes this season for you a reflection of His joy, sweetness, and truth. We love all of you and send you our warmest wishes and prayers.

For the purpose of glorifying Jesus,

November News

We saw many first time guests in our Sunday services, and House Groups in the month of November.  Revolving homes for the Wednesday and Saturday Bible Studies has aided this.  We are excited about what God is doing in these new Christians lives.

Maricel had a miraculous reconciliation with her daughter after being estranged from her for 4 years.  One week later Maricel was filled with the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  God is showing her His great love and power.

The Discipleship Class singing “No Longer Slaves”, and testifying of the many changes God has made in their lives with this cardboard presentation.

Representatives from countries in the Middle East met in Crete, Greece for meetings and fellowship.  Many of these countries have only 1 rep and some have no reps.  It can be very lonely working in this part of the world; good fellowship is so vital and invigorating.  We were honoured to be a part of these meetings with EME Director, Bishop Tuttle and Area Coordinator, Rev. Parker.

Matthew and Shaylyn were happy to hang out with young people closer to their age in Crete (Rachel, AIMer to Greece & Lauren, MK to Cyprus.) These 4 wonderful young people babysat the 5 younger ones while their parents were in meetings.  They worked very hard, but after turning the children back to their parents had fun exploring coffee and ice cream shops.

Praise God for 3 new guests at the Tripoli Bible Study.

Prayer Requests

~ Pray for Pastor Mark and Mariann Starin as they finish their deputational travels and prepare to return to Lebanon at the beginning of January.  Pray for their health and strength, and fresh anointing.

~ Pray for the safety of some of our church family who are travelling for Christmas.  Some are travelling as far away as Congo, Canada, and Romania.

~ Seven months after the election, another roadblock has stalled the government formation.  Just when things were beginning to look promising, the political party of Hezbollah threw a wrench into the plan.  As we mentioned in last months newsletter; the country will soon be bankrupt if it does not establish a parliament that can receive funding from western nations.  Pray that this parliament will formed according to God's timing and plan.

God bless you!

News from Switzerland

Every Tribe and Tongue

In January, it will have been 10 years since I first came to the German Speaking Nations as an AIMer for Bro. and Sis. Robinette. Had you told me then where I would be today I never could have imagined it. It sounds like a cliché to be sure, but its true.I don’t know what I pictured, really, but I know I didn’t have a mind big enough for what I see now.

Day by day, year by year, the Lord has broadened my vision to see beyond a church’s wall, past city limits and truly, beyond borders. I’ve seen God light fires in in the hearts of immigrant cultures and bring to life the dry bones of native peoples. I’ve seen God give revelation of His Word and power in English, German, French, Spanish, Farsi, Russian, Portuguese and so many more. Regardless of the barriers or opposition, Jesus is pouring out His Spirit on all flesh. I am so thankful the Lord has brought me to be a messenger to the German Speaking Nations, and by extension, the World. And none of it is possible, except that you gave.
Thank you partners for having a global heartbeat.

Your servant in Christ,
Amber Hackenbruch

Holy Ghost,
Jesus Name Baptism & Miracle
Highlights

Sis Rose and her husband are unaffiliated ministers living in Switzerland.
Bro and Sis Robinette came into contact with them and invited them to come to the annual Elisha Conference in Munich, Germany.
God had revealed to them water baptism in Jesus name and the need for the Holy Ghost. Her husband had received the Holy Ghost, but she had not.

On the first night of the conference, at the alter,
God filled Sis Rose with the Holy Ghost in such a powerful way!

Account by Sarah Draper (AIMer to Switzerland)

Seven year old Sandro came forward with simple child-like faith and received the Holy Ghost at the Bible study held in Basel, Switzerland. Right after he received it, his grandmother, Doris, said she wanted it too, and God filled her with the Holy Ghost. What a good God we serve!

Hillary has been serving God faithfully for three years while waiting for permission to be baptized in Jesus name. Even as a teenager, she has been firm in her faith while facing strong pressure from those around her. It was such a beautiful day when she was finally allowed to be buried in the Name of Jesus! (Vienna, Austria)

Sis Amelie had a tumor on the right side of her brain. During the morning service, she testified that when the word of faith went forth, she felt a strong tingle where the tumor was and said she felt it fall out of her brain!

Training

AMTC, Purpose Institute, Bible Quizzing

AMTC

This year the GSN hosted our annual Apostolic Ministry Training Center.
We hosted 17 campuses and had 73 teachers.
In 2015, we had 39 students attend AMTC.
This year, we had 305 students! Most of which were from churches that had never before heard this Apostolic teaching.
We are praising God for the continued growth of our AMTC program!

God is doing great things in the German Speaking Nations!

Elisha Conference

This conference was designed to empower active ministers and inspire the future leaders; and each year, the Lord amazes us with how He does that by unifying us all into one vision. The Lord has cast such a vision that others are able to see it. In this conference alone, not only were we joined by many unaffiliated ministers from our region who are receiving a revelation of Apostolic doctrine, but also by the head of a 400 church organization from Angola who has asked our team to bring Apostolic training to their ministers!

We are so thankful for our missionary team members here in Switzerland and the GSN. One of our newest team members is Sis. Sarah Draper (AIMer) who has been doing a fantastic job supporting the churches throughout Switzerland. Welcome to the team Sarah!
