Missionary Suppan E-Newsletter

We appreciate the opportunity to serve in Germany, after Global Missions extended our appointment. We arrived in Berlin on June 5th, 2013 and our first service was held on June 9th, 2013 in an apartment with Sis. Stefanie Koeppen and the Speckman family from the US. Sis. Koeppen was baptized and received the Holy Ghost while on vacation in Barbados. She had prayed for two years for a church in Berlin.

Currently, we hold weekly Sunday morning services in a rented facility in Berlin Mitte (center) in German, English and Spanish. In addition, we teach midweek bible studies in German and English in Berlin and in the city of Potsdam. Our average Sunday attendance is 13 people. Last Sunday, following the Prayer Walk with the EME Regional Prayer Commission, we had 15 first time visitors and a net attendance of 31 (69 incl. EME Regional Prayer Commission). Thank you for sending us!

Berlin Prayer Walk
We had a group of over 40 people pray, worship and evangelize the streets of Berlin under the direction of the EME Regional Prayer Commission (United Pentecostal Church). We handed out over 3000 invitations. Sunday morning we had 15 first time visitors. One was baptized in the Name of Jesus and filled with the Holy Ghost. We sincerely appreciate the help of so many that took time of from work and spent their finances to come help. We prayed at the Reichstag, Brandenburger Gate, Berlin Wall and Hitler's Bunker with the Regional Prayer Commission Team and Missionaries Kelley, Nichols, Robinette, Demos, Coker and churches from Denmark and Norway.

Nikolay from Poland

Pastor Negron from Landstuhl, Germany witnessed to a young man during outreach on Alexanderplatz. Nikolay is sleeping in his friends car. We bought him lunch and prayed for him. Sunday morning he received the Holy Ghost and we baptized him in a hotel room. We continue to work with him to get employment and a place to stay.

Praise Reports

Karin from our Potsdam bible study group needed a visa. She received a non-expiring visa (a miracle). Several prayers were answered for apartments and employment.

Our daughter Sophie was diagnosed with 11% Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip (DDH) on the right side. Following the prayer walk in Berlin, we went back to meet with Professor Dr. Kayser, the head of the Orthopedic department at Vivantes Hospital in Berlin. After a thorough examination, he stated that her hips are now 100% okay.

Missionary Harold Kinney, Faith Promise

It was great to have Bro. and Sis. Kinney from Canada for a few days with us in Berlin. They have laid a great foundation for the revival we now see in Austria and Germany. We are thankful for their ministry and dedication to the work of God in Austria for 10 years. They ministered in word and song in our Tuesday night bible study in Berlin.

German Bible Study

My wife, Shelley Suppan, is seen here teaching a bible study to Sis. Stefanie Koeppen. We have weekly studies in German in Berlin. Stefanie is a pillar of Life Center Berlin.
