Pacific Region Newsletter

September-October 2018
Roger and Becky Buckland

Dear Friends of the Pacific Region,

With a thankful heart we are so pleased to attach our most recent PAC PRAYER and PRAISE Regional Newsletter.

Generally speaking, life finds us all in varying seasons; and so it is in our many island nations spread out across the vast Pacific Ocean. While some works are just beginning to take root and grow, some nations are now in a tremendous time of reaping and harvest.  We weep with those who have recently experienced great tragedy and loss; and all the while we rejoice with those who are experiencing great victories.

Wherever you may be as you read this, and whatever season you may find yourself or your church, we thank God that we are a ‘United’ Pentecostal Church — united by His Spirit for His purpose.

May God bless YOU as you have blessed us,

Becky Buckland

PAC REGION VISION:  "To Reach Every Inhabited Island of the Vast Pacific Region with the Apostolic Message Through Labouring Together in Apostolic Ministry.”

Nigerian Update from Gerry and Darla McLean

Dear Partners in Missions:

Greetings from Nigeria, West Africa!

During the last week of June, I was invited to speak in a series of services in Kaduna, Kaduna State. I taught or preached 14 times in 5 days. The day sessions were aimed at reaching trinitarian pastors and church leaders. We taught on the Oneness of God, the New Birth, and Holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. We averaged 62 participants in the day services. The evening services were evangelistic in nature. On Sunday morning I preached in 3 churches: 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. On Sunday afternoon we had a corporate baptismal service.

At the end of the day, 56 were baptized in the glorious Name of Jesus and 71 received the baptism of the Holy Ghost. Among those baptized were 7 trinitarian pastors and 5 students from a trinitarian Bible school. What a great time in Jesus!

Our thanks to you for making all of this possible.

Yours for souls,
Gerry and Darla McLean

Great News from the Ikerd Family in Namibia

Rural Church Receives New Tent!

Because of your giving we wear able to purchase a new Tent for the Church group in Rehoboth! The tent is a nice graduation from a small living room. In one weekend they had 5 people receive the Holy Ghost!

Please pray with us that God will provide affordable land for their Church building!

SFC Vehicle at Work

We drove 8 hours to deliver cement and water pipe for the building of a new Church. The saints in the village of Oshikweyu are making blocks for the new church building. The black pipe will be providing water to the Church property.

Thank you Sheaves for Christ!

Baptism at the Sea

My mother, Sis. Sharon Ikerd, has been teaching home bible studies to these two ladies. We baptized them in Jesus Name!

Sis. Sharon Ikerd is serving on the A.I.M. program here in Namibia. She is teaching in one of our four satellite Bible Schools.
