Africa In Revival - April

Cameroon

During a weekend revival, seven received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

At a Regional Conference, eight received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Central African Republic

During a week of teaching on the New Birth Experience, a great hunger was witnessed in the people and eyes were opened to the truth. Seven were baptized in Jesus' name. The church also experienced a breakthrough in prayer. This is a tremendous step as Catholicism has a great hold on this nation.

Congo

In one church, seven received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and nine were baptized in Jesus' name.

Ghana

In regular services attended by missionaries, fifteen received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and six reported healing.

One of those healed was a man who was the first at the altar for prayer. Then he looked behind him and saw others following him. He said to himself, "Who is going to pray for all these people?" He removed himself from the prayer line and began praying for the others needing healing and God completely healed his body as well.

Guinea

At the first General Conference, there was an average attendance of 120 at each service. Fourteen were baptized in Jesus' name, and eight received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Kenya

During regular services around the country, a total of 131 were baptized in Jesus' name, 194 received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and 129 reported healing.

Liberia

During regular services twenty-six were baptized in Jesus' name and thirty-two received the baptism of the Holy spirit.

Nigeria

At recent meetings, there were several Bible school instructors, administrators, and ministerial fellowship coordinators from various church organizations. At the end of the meeting, twenty-nine were baptized in Jesus' name. Four pastors will attend the upcoming National Minister's Convention, and they want to apply for ministerial license with the UPCI.

At one church, where they had only been averaging about twenty in attendance, fourteen were baptized in Jesus' name.

Tanzania

A church group went up a small mountain for a special time of prayer. While there, fifteen received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

Personal Evangelism training seminars were held in five different areas. During night services after the day sessions, eighty-eight received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and twenty-two reported healing.

After service at a local church, eleven were baptized in Jesus' name.

A pastor was supposed to have surgery but the Lord completely healed him before the scheduled date.

A pastor's daughter had a sudden onset of fever and virus-like sickness that passed after two days, but it left her unable to talk and resume her normal activities. Doctors could not discover her sickness or the cause of her problems. Prayer was made, and God completely healed her.

Recently, the pastor and congregation were asked by the owners of the building they rent for services to have a prayer meeting in their home. During this prayer meeting, the owner's son was delivered from demons and set free.

South Africa

A couple were almost high-jacked, and although they received injuries, they are still alive. The perpetrators ran away and left the car. Thank the Lord for His protection.

Uganda

A pastor was baptized in Jesus' name in the eastern part of the country. One of our pastors went to the church to preach the apostolic message.

Two pastors and six others were baptized in Jesus' name in a new area of the country.

A seminar was held in another part of the country; ten received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and twelve were baptized in Jesus' name.

A lady attending an all day prayer meeting fell over dead. The church prayed. The lady came back to life and walked home rejoicing in the Lord.

Arabic (in various dialects) has the highest number of speakers with over 170 million.
