Good News from Northern Europe

The year started out with much prayer and fasting.  Throughout the Europe/Middle East Region, many nations start the year with extended times of prayer and fasting.  The churches in Great Britain & Ireland have a National Week of Prayer that ends with prayer rallies in each district.

The Glasgow Church was privileged to host one of these prayer rallies and it was an exceptionally good time of prayer.  Each church in the district submits requests and time is taken to pray for each church.  Below you can see the James Beek Family, who pastor in Glasgow, being prayed for.

HARVEST BIBLE COLLEGE RETREAT

The alumni of Harvest Bible College organised a wonderful retreat.  This was a “first” and was an exceptionally good time of fellowship, reminiscing, teaching and mentoring.  We thank God for the great alumni of the college who are working for the Lord in numerous places around the world.

If you know anyone who would like to attend Harvest Bible College, please direct them to:

What a joy it was to be with the great church in Paris, France and our missionary colleagues, Paul and Darla Brochu.  We were with them for their Faith Promise service and a wonderful international meal.  We give God praise for the great work of this church and the many souls who are being reached.

What a joy it was to once again visit Sweden and the churches there.  We rejoiced to see 3 men baptised in Stockholm.  They also have a wonderful new facility for their church services.

It was wonderful to also be in Falun where Sis. Kelly Collier is doing a great work for the Lord.

THANK YOU TO MANY WHO HAVE PRAYED FOR SWEDEN OVER THE LAST SEVERAL YEARS.  THE CHURCH IN THIS NATION HAS BEEN THROUGH MUCH, BUT GOD IS SMILING ON THE FAITHFULNESS OF OUR LABORERS WHO ARE DOING A WONDERFUL JOB.

It has been both a joy and a heartbreak to teach a family in the Channel Islands on Saturday mornings via Skype for over 3 years.  The joy has been to know that there are people in this island nation that love God and have given their lives to Him.  The heartbreak is that there is no church for them to attend.  These Saturday morning Bible studies are the only “church” they have.

WOULD YOU PRAY FOR MARIUS AND MARIANNA AND THEIR DAUGHTER, ANTONIO? WOULD YOU PRAY THAT GOD WILL SEND SOMEONE TO THIS ENGLISH-SPEAKING NATION THAT LIES IN THE ENGLISH CHANNEL BETWEEN ENGLAND AND FRANCE? WE WISH WE HAD ANOTHER LIFE TO GIVE TO THE CHANNEL ISLANDS.
