Revival in Africa


Cameroon
Terry Riddick family


Eleven received the Holy Ghost on Easter Sunday at a Youth Crusade.

In a local church crusade, a young girl was delivered from evil spirits. She was in church the next day with nine family members who also were delivered and decided they wanted to live for God.
Five were baptized in Jesus' name at a local church.


Gabon

Randy Adams family (reported by Pastor Desire)


In one day, eleven were baptized in Jesus' name.


Easter weekend, six were baptized in Jesus' name, and three received the Holy Ghost.

Ghana

One received the Holy Ghost in a local church service.


4,252 attended the National Easter Convention. Ninety-five received the Holy Ghost and twenty-five were baptized in Jesus' name.


Kenya

A total of 380 were baptized in Jesus' name, and 315 received the Holy Ghost. There were also reports of ninety-five healings.


Three new preaching points were established.


A woman possessed by a witchcraft spirit was delivered and baptized in Jesus' name.

In a month and a half, four out of seven regions report a total of 361 baptisms and 313 receiving the Holy Ghost.


Liberia

During regular services, forty-nine received the Holy Ghost and ninety-one were baptized in Jesus' name.


Madagascar

Numerous visitors attended "Family Sunday." Four received the Holy Ghost and six were baptized in Jesus' name.


At a local church revival in the capital city, twenty-three received the Holy Ghost in one weekend.


Malawi

A total of thirty-three received the Holy Ghost in regular services in two locations.


Mozambique

On Easter weekend, thirty-one were baptized in Jesus' name and eight received the Holy Ghost in a local church.


Nigeria

One pastor baptized nineteen in Jesus' name.


Another pastor and three of his members were baptized in an area of the country never visited before.


Four more pastors were baptized in Jesus' name in a city where a Oneness Seminar was in November 2009.


Sierra Leone

An average of 300 attended each night at a recent church program. Forty-seven received the Holy Ghost, and over thirty were baptized in Jesus' name.


Tanzania

100 adults and 18 children received the Holy Ghost. Several were baptized in Jesus' name--including a Trinitarian pastor and nine of his saints and a Muslim man who received the Holy Ghost in the water and then begged the pastor to teach him more about Jesus.


There are reports of over thirty people, including a blind man, who received their healing.


Two new preaching points were established, as well as a new radio broadcast that is reaching the northern part of the country.


Uganda

103 received the Holy Ghost at recent seminars. The guest speaker's wife is a nurse, and she examined over 750 children, babies, and elderly during the seminars.


Two students who are now attending Bible school in Kenya are preparing to return and help in setting up Uganda's Bible school. In total, over 900 students are enrolled in the capital city Apostolic Schools for the new year.


Throughout several regions, a total of eighty-eight received the Holy Ghost and 216 were baptized in Jesus' name.


Four Trinitarian pastors baptized in Jesus' name and one of their congregations.


There are reports of several healings. In one instance, a teenage boy fell out of a tree and broke his back and neck. He was sent home from the hospital to die. After prayer was made, God miraculously raised the boy from his death bed.


The daughter of a government official was violently sick. After prayers were made, God instantly healed her and that night her parents, herself, and three other family members were baptized in Jesus' name.


A Trinitarian group met requesting the government to chase the UPC out of the district. One of our pastors preached, "We are Acts Apostolics," and answered the charges to the Governmental officers. As a result, two Trinitarian pastors have joined our church and were baptized in Jesus' name.


Several unsaved attendees of a child's funeral heard the Apostolic saving message. The next Sunday they were all in church, most were baptized, and received the Holy Ghost. They are now constructing a new church at their home.


Two new churches were constructed and six churches started. One new district was formed.


Zambia

Four received the Holy Ghost, and three were baptized in Jesus' name at the Home Missions Director's church. There was also a powerful men's fellowship on the same day with ninety in attendance.


530 attended a Regional Revival; forty-four received the Holy Ghost, and thirty-three were baptized in Jesus' name.


Fifteen received the Holy Ghost at a Prayer Conference.


Zimbabwe

The General Assembly of UPC Zimbabwe was a great success, with the ministers receiving much teaching and encouragement.


Over 600 people attended the annual General Conference. Twenty-one received the Holy Ghost, and forty-three were baptized in Jesus' name.
