Luxembourg Missions Update

Greetings from Luxembourg in the Name of Jesus!

In 2 Kings 6:15-17 the Bible gives an example of spiritual vision revealing reality. Early one morning Elisha’s servant saw their city being surrounded by an army of horses and chariots. What he saw meant their enemy had them surrounded. Elisha prayed that the young man would be able to “see.” When the Lord opened his eyes what he saw was very different than at first. He saw the mountain “full of horses and chariots of fire.”

Before his eyes were opened he could only see the enemy had them surrounded. After his eyes were opened to reality, he could see that what was surrounding them was surrounded. This is why Elisha said, “Fear not, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” I pray the Lord gives His people vision to see the unseen!

Lux Connections

This month one of our outreach activities included a pizza picnic in the park.

We shared a lot of drinks and pizza with people in the park, handed out Bible study invitations and church information, played games and got to know a few more people.

During this afternoon we met and connected with a new family from Scotland that recently moved to Luxembourg.

We are looking forward to what God is going to do in this family!

About 12 years ago a tall young man visited our church in Texas where I was youth pastor at the time. His family was traveling the country ministering as they traveled from state to state. We sort-of adopted the young traveler into our youth group and he also became a good friend who we would keep up with for years to come. His name is Paul Grohman (topleft). He is now 25 years old and a recent graduate of Texas Bible College. He contacted me sharing an amazing story of his calling to Luxembourg. Since being here he has been my prayer partner joining me in intercession for this nation, helped develop Bible study curriculum, assisted with outreach and evangelism, taken care of our daughter, Kinsey, begun teaching weekly music lessons and is a tremendous blessing to us. Your investment in people is never wasted.

Claire (pictured above) is a young Filipino lady who has recently joined our Bible study group!

Many Blessings!
